Overnight non-stop
flight from JFK to Cairo on Egyptair. In-flight meals are

DAY 2 WED
CAIRO - ASWAN
Arrive in Cairo, connect to your flight to Aswan. Transfer
to your Nile Cruise Boat: CRUISE BEGINS! Dinner and
overnight on board. (D)
DAY 3 THU
NILE CRUISE: Kom Ombo & Edfu
After breakfast on board, an optional shore excursion,
visiting the temples at Kom Ombo. Continue sailing
to Edfu. A fun optional excursion in Edfu, first by
taking a horse-drawn-carriage ride and then visiting the
Temples of Isis and Osiris. Later in the afternoon you
will cross the locks on the Nile in Esna -providing a fun
and small scale canal-crossing experience. Lunch and Dinner
on board the cruise boat. Continue to sail north to Luxor.

After breakfast arrive in Luxor. Day at leisure. Lunch and

After breakfast, an optional excursion to the West Bank of
the Nile, visiting Valley of the Kings, Temple of

NILE CRUISE: Edfu & Kom Ombo
Enjoy a leisurely sailing up the Nile, with stops in the

NILE CRUISE: ASWA / OPTIONAL ABU SIMBEL
Arrive in Aswan. Today you might chose to enjoy an
optional excursion to
the most impressive Abu Simble ($199) including
flights. In the afternoon, enjoy an optional shore excursion
in beautiful Aswan. Lunch, and Dinner on board.

Note: Passengers who booked the optional Abu Simbel excursion ($199) will fly to Abu Simbel - to visit the two temples built by Ramses II as a high-architect before he became Pharaoh. The 100 foot high Great Temple is world famous, which features 4 statues of Ramses II and his wife Queen Nefertari, each 65 foot high. Next to the Great Temple is the temple dedicated to Queen Nefertari. Both temples were originally carved in a mountain. In 1965 they were moved 600 feet and raised 65 feet, thanks to an international project to save them from the flooding caused by the construction of the High Dam. Upon completion of the optional excursion, you will fly to Aswan .(B-L-D)
